Find your PUK code

If you enter the wrong PIN three times, your SIM card will be blocked, and you’ll need a PUK code. This guide shows you how to find your PUK code.

Here’s how to find your PUK code

You’ll find your PUK and PIN codes on the plastic card your SIM was attached to. If you no longer have the card, you can find your PUK code in MyBusiness.

Find your PUK code in MyBusiness

  1. Log in to MyBusiness.

  2. Go to the My Services tab.

  3. Select the subscription you want to find the PUK code for. Either directly from the list or by searching for the phone number.

Done! You’ll find the PUK code in the subscription view.

Don't have access to MyBusiness?

If you don’t have access to MyBusiness, there are other ways to find your PUK code. Visit one of our stores and verify your identity, and we’ll help you retrieve your PUK code. You can also contact our customer service to have the PUK code sent by mail, or access it by verifying with BankID.

Good to know

Find your PIN code

Since you can change the PIN code on your SIM card, we can't guarantee that the original PIN code is still valid. If you've forgotten your PIN code, we recommend entering an incorrect PIN three times and then creating a new one using your PUK code.

BankID with locked SIM card

If your SIM card is locked, you can still access and use BankID as usual, as long as your phone is connected to Wi‑Fi.

iPhone
To use BankID on a locked iPhone, restart your device and tap
Cancel when prompted to enter your PIN or PUK code during startup.

AndroidOn Android devices, you can't dismiss the PIN or PUK code prompt. In this case, restart your phone without the SIM card inserted.
