Coverage map

If you're experiencing poor coverage in an area where the map shows you should have good coverage, several factors could be at play. One reason may be that a cell tower is temporarily overloaded, which can affect your connection to the network.

Coverage is also influenced by your surroundings – whether you're indoors or outdoors, in hilly terrain, or in dense forest. Different phones, routers, and tablets also vary in performance, which can impact your experience.

The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) offers helpful guidance on improving your mobile coverage. If you're outdoors, try moving around to find a spot with better reception. Indoors, you can place your phone near a window and use a headset for calls. Other tips include adjusting how you hold your phone and checking your carrier's coverage map for your area.

If you've lost mobile coverage, there are a few things you can try to restore it. For example, try moving to a different location to see if the signal improves. If you're indoors, step outside to check if coverage returns.

If changing location doesn't work, try turning your phone off and back on. Sometimes that does the trick. Also, make sure you haven't accidentally enabled airplane mode.

If you still don't have coverage, check if there are any service disruptions in your area.

If you notice that coverage has suddenly disappeared, it may be due to network congestion or an outage. Check if there are any current outages in your area on our service status page.
