Voicemail

Voicemail is a service that you can easily activate from your phone. This guide explains how to activate the service, manage greetings, set up a PIN code, and delete messages.

Activate the service

To activate voicemail for the first time, send a text message with Mobilsvar på to 4466. Then call 133 from your phone.

The first time you call your voicemail, you'll hear a setup guide and be asked to create a 6–10 digit PIN. If you choose not to set a PIN, a random code will be generated and sent to you via text.

You'll need your voicemail PIN when you're abroad and want to check your messages, or if you want to access your voicemail from another phone. You can also require a PIN when calling your voicemail from your own phone.

During setup, you'll also receive information about the voicemail service and have the option to record a personal greeting or voice signature. You can also choose whether to use the service in Swedish or English.

Greeting message and voice signature

Call 133 – press 3, then 1.

You'll then have these options:

  • Press 1 to record a personal greeting.

  • Press 2 to record an international greeting.

  • Press 3 to record an away message.

  • Press 4 to record a voice signature.

Personal greeting

This greeting plays when you're unable to answer. For example, you might say you're busy, that you'll call back later, or that the caller can leave a message.

A greeting can be up to 2 minutes long.

International greeting

This greeting plays when someone tries to reach you from abroad.

Away message

An away message is an announcement only. When an away message is active, callers cannot leave a message.

Voice signature

A voice signature plays when someone reaches your voicemail. Record only your first and last name.
