PBX features without a smartphone – Touchpoint Plus

This guide explains how to manage calls and configure phone system settings using number prefixes on your phone.

Call Management

When making outgoing calls, you need to enter the full phone number including the area code. For international calls, dial 00 before the country code.

You can also use short codes to call within your organization if the feature is enabled in your phone system. Check with your phone system administrator to confirm.

Transfer an active call to your mobile: 987

Enable call forwarding: 987 (followed by the number you want to forward to, including area code)

Disable call forwarding: 980

Transfer calls

Direct transfer: Dial 9830 followed by the number you want to transfer the call to.

Supervised transfer: Dial 9832 followed by the number you want to transfer the call to.

With a direct transfer, the call is immediately transferred to the recipient and your call ends.

With a supervised transfer, you can speak with the recipient before transferring the call. The transfer completes when you end your call.

Tip!To make call transfers easier, save a phone number as a secondary number on a contact with the transfer prefix included in your address book.
Alternatively, save the number with the transfer prefix as a separate contact.
The number should be formatted as
prefix + number.
