Comprehensive and flexible protection
Telia Threat Protection gives you access to all the features of next-generation firewalls. The base service includes traditional firewall functionality.
Telia provides a recommended default configuration that can be adjusted to fit your needs. Optional add-on packages let you enhance your protection. You retain full control over the firewall even though it's a managed service.

Choosing firewall as a service offers several key advantages. Most importantly, you get better protection designed and maintained by specialists. You'll also reduce total costs since there's no need to invest time in operations and maintenance or make additional capital investments. This frees up resources across your organization.
Choose between two options
Choose the Telia Threat Protection option that fits your needs:
1. Shared hardware – A flexible option that scales with your business. A virtualized setup hosted in one of Telia's security-classified data centers in Sweden. Equipment is redundant for maximum availability.
2. Dedicated hardware – You get your own physical firewall, hosted at Telia or in your own environment. It can also be deployed internationally, depending on requirements. High availability (HA) can be added as an option. Telia's service desk, monitoring and operations, and web portal with rule overview are all included in the base service.

Basic protection against known threats
Antivirus: scans unencrypted web and email traffic passing through the firewall and protects against phishing, spyware, adware, and keylogging.
Botnet protection (Antibot): prevents attackers from remotely controlling infected computers. Detects and blocks bots, botnets, and APT attacks.
URL filtering: protects users from accessing websites with malicious, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Log management: centralized function that lets you filter traffic logs, view events, and generate reports.
Extended basic protection (includes all basic protection features)
Application control: comprehensive management of social media, Web 2.0 applications, widgets, peer-to-peer, instant messaging, and file sharing.
Attack blocking (Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)): monitors network traffic against a defined IPS ruleset. Protects against malware, denial of service attacks, and protocol vulnerabilities.
Protection against unknown threats (in addition to known threats)
Sandboxing: identifies threats not previously detected by existing signatures.
