iPhone 17 as a work phone – how it simplifies your workday

Introducing Apple iPhone Air

The big news in the lineup is the new Air model, an ultra-thin smartphone for those who prefer less bulk in their pocket. Perfect for the office when you've left your jacket or bag at home.

The Air model is 5.6 mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone yet. It replaces the previous Plus model, which has been retired after years of faithful service.

Horizontal camera module for creators

The Pro models feature a new chassis, half glass and half aluminum, along with a horizontal camera module housing three 48 MP rear cameras, 8x optical zoom, and 8K video support. Beyond the ability to capture photos and videos suitable for commercial use, this represents the most significant design change in years.

All models also come equipped with a new 18 MP "center stage" front camera (also known as the selfie camera) with a sensor twice as large as before. Great for creators who need to produce high-quality content for social media and other platforms.

Fast charging for your commute

The new iPhone 17 series charges faster than previous models. Up to 35 W with a cable. Up to 25 W wirelessly with Qi2 chargers. You can charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes. That's seriously fast.

The battery on the new models is also more powerful than before. Pro Max has a 5, 000 mAh battery, giving it the longest battery life ever on an iPhone. Run multiple work apps simultaneously with more memory

More memory means you can multitask without slowing down. The new Pro and Air models have 12 GB of RAM, while the standard model has 8 GB. Larger, more responsive display for video meetings

As if all that weren't enough, Apple has also increased the screen size. The standard model has grown from a 6.1-inch to a 6.3-inch display.

All models now feature a display that can refresh up to 120 times per second, thanks to ProMotion dynamic technology (ProMotion 120Hz). This means everything from scrolling through apps to viewing presentations and participating in video calls will feel smoother and more responsive than on a traditional screen.

The display is also brighter than ever at 3, 000 nits. Plus, it's significantly more durable. With Ceramic Shield 2, it's three times more scratch-resistant than previous models.

Better cooling means better performance in Pro models

For those whose work keeps their phone constantly in hand, there's more good news. A new thermal system improves cooling in the Pro models. No more overheating, and more importantly, better sustained performance over time.
