Making a call
Proceed as follows:
- To call a Swedish fixed-line telephone, dial the area code and the telephone number. E.g. 031–123456 (area code 031) or 08–123456 (area code 08).
- To call a Swedish mobile phone, dial the telephone number. E.g. 070–1234567.
- To call a foreign number, dial + (the character) or 00, country code, area code without the first zero and then the telephone number. For example, to call Spain dial +34 123456 or 0034 123456.
Available services
When you are in Telia’s network, the following call services will be available to you provided that your home operator supports each service. Contact your home operator’s customer service department to determine which mobile services are supported or to obtain assistance if you are problems using any of the services.

Normal calls including:- Call Forwarding
- Call Waiting
- Third-Party Calls
- Caller ID
- Conference Calling
- Call Hold
- Call Barring
- Video Calls

What does it cost?
The prices vary depending on your home operator. Contact them for price details.
Barred numbers
It is not possible to call Swedish premium rate numbers. I.e. numbers that begin with 0900, 0939 and 0944.
Barred countries
When you are in Sweden, you cannot call certain countries because they are barred. These countries are:- The Central African Republic
- Guinea-Bissau
- Montserrat in the Caribbean
- Papua New Guinea
- A number of small islands in the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean are also barred.
